the last post was too difficult to make, combining 4 different walks.
i'm tired in the night, i will present to you the old Tripoli day after day.
anyway, it's seen better this way, otherwise, it's an overdose!
so it's day one, the day the sky was red and raining mud (you'd think it would rain blood, as red as it was)
i don't think any comment is needed.
just to say , who the F^^ this man is supposed to look like? not Lebanese, for sure.
mysteries of life.
and that day he was the only human i shot.
we'll maybe see typical natives in day 2
wonderful, Hanan. a mix of street journalism and art. some of the highlights for me are the top set of four - the illuminated window and doorway in the dimness of the first large one - and the one with the green shutters and lit window deserves
ReplyDeletei can almost smell the hot dry concrete in the bottom ones, though i'm sure i don't know what Tripoli smells like. (american cities in the summer smell like garlic, btw.)
and the dude at the bottom! keys on belt like a janitor, the hat with neckstring, wow - he does have a kind of goofy charm. a man with purposes, maybe mysterious ones.
thank you dear! i thought it was a bit too chaotic. but it was the "hunt" of that particular day.
ReplyDeletei never noticed any garlic smell (and i must say i'm not unhappy with it) :)
that man asked to be taken in photo! i think he was the responsible for the parking you can see in the image. a very important job in this overpopulated area ;)
that last image it's not very far of my clinic, btw. the old town, was the economic and social heart of the city, before.
